Keynote Presentation and Workshop Content

 

 

Presentation Title: “Living Bully Free and Loving Me

Intended Audience:  Children & Young Adults

Special Attraction:   The Evolve Dancers, singers, actors and a variety of performers will engage, entertain and excite the audience.

Presentation Description: Our presentation  entertain and provide skills where participants will learn about bullying, its affects, and consequences.  Participants will learn the definition of tolerance and positive self-esteem.  Mastering these tools together increases participant success in the application of tools learned.

 

Workshop Title:Working Toward Living Bully Free

Intended Audience:  Children & Young Adults

Workshop Description:  This workshop is for groups of 10 to 30 students, who require or will benefit from a smaller and informal setting.  Participants will take part in activities and role play to gain an understanding of the objectives.  This can also be utilized as a follow up to the “Living Bully Free and Loving Me!” workshop.

 

 

Workshop Title:  “Positive Self Esteem and Loving Me

Intended Audience:  Children & Young Adults

Workshop Description:  This workshop helps participants develop a picture of how they view themselves and its role in all aspects of their lives!  This can also be utilized as a follow up to the “Living Bully Free and Loving Me!” workshop.

 

 

Workshop Title: “Building Positive Peer Relationships”

Intended Audience:  Children & Young Adults

Workshop Description:  This workshop will help participants to understand the difference between positive and negative peer relationships as well as the importance of these relationships in their future.  Participants will also be given guidance on how to initiate and sustain these relationships.

 

 

Workshop Title:Tolerance Makes the World Go ‘Round

Intended Audience:  Adults & Children

Workshop Description for Adults:  Participants of this workshop will be shown how stereotypical beliefs that are passed down from one generation to the next can cause preconceived ideas about others and may lead to their children adopting bullying behavior.  Participants will discuss the importance of respecting the differences that exist in order to form a more tolerant atmosphere for themselves and any children that may be involved in their lives.

Workshop Description for Children:  Participants will evaluate how learned behavior passed on from friends and family can lead to biased opinions of others without reason.  Participants will be challenged to shed stereotypical thoughts about others in order to form a more tolerant atmosphere that is accepting to all people.

 

 

Workshop Title:  “Conflict Resolution

Intended Audience: Adults & Children

Workshop Description for Adults:  This workshop will help participants to develop positive and effective conflict resolution techniques that will assist them in making better choices in every aspect of their lives.  Participants will also evaluate their coping skills and conflict styles while examining self-destructive behavior patterns.  Participants will learn cooperation, appreciation of diversity, communication, conflict resolution, and avoidance skills.

Workshop Description for Children:  This workshop helps participants to develop positive and effective conflict resolution techniques that will assist them in making good decisions and avoid the consequences of bad decisions.  Participants will identify and understand conflict and learn techniques for improving conflict resolution and communication skills.

 

 

Workshop Title:  “Understanding the Bully”

Intended Audience:  Adults

Workshop Description:  This workshop provides teachers, administrators and parents with vital information that will help recognize the many faces of bullying.  Participants develop a deeper awareness the bully . Participants will also develop skills to address and decrease bullying behaviors.

 

 

Workshop Title:  “Building a Safety Team

Intended Audience:  Adults

Workshop Description:  This workshop will involve interaction between decision-making personnel and the facilitator of The Evolve Project in order to examine the bullying policies and procedures as well as the safety team that is currently in place within the  facility or organization.  This workshop will evaluate the structure of the current team and will also offer suggestions for improvement to their current practices.

 

 

Workshop Title:Establishing Bullying Policies and Procedures”

Intended Audience:  Adults

Workshop Description:  This workshop will provide a framework for schools and organizations to evaluate policies and procedures for bullies.  The workshop will help evaluate clear and concise consequences for bullying.  Dissemination of information, policies, procedures, and consequences for bully’s will also be addressed.
